Prof. K. J. Joseph Endowment is instituted by Department of Zoology, University of Calicut since 1989 in honour of Prof (Dr). K. J. Joseph, the Professor and Head of the Department during the period 1968 to 1987. The Endowment Award is intended for the best outgoing M. Sc. Applied Zoology student of the Department of Zoology every year.
Alumni Association, Department of Zoology is the institutional body of the Endowment with a corpus fund of Rs. 50,001/-
