    Title of Thesis:
Biogenic synthesis of silver nanoparticles from medicinally important plant extracts and evaluation of anti-oxidant and anti-cancerous activities.
The study focus on screening potential anti-cancer molecules from the selected plants and its expression on cell lines to prove the efficiency. The structural modification and nanoparticle composition of the screened molecules will be used for more effective targeting the growing cancer cells. The eco-friendly synthesis of silver nanoparticles from the selected plant extracts and evaluation of its ant-oxidant and anti-cancerous activities are the primary objectives of this study. Reverse Transcription Quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR) Analysis of the relative levels of apoptosis-related gene expressions will be evaluated by employing gene-specific primers.

   Title of Thesis:
A study on possible molecular mechanism of mode of action on larvicidal and reproductive toxicity effect of plant derived compounds on Aedes aegypti L. ( Diptera: Culicidae)

Research focus on reproductive toxicity of plant based compounds on Aedes aegypti to identify eco-friendly biosterillants.  The study aim to perform expression analysis of selected genes, and to identify the possible mode of action of biosterillants  on  reproduction of mosquitoes.

In vitro and in vivo studies on anti-plasmodial activity of different plant based compounds on the malarial parasite Plasmodium falciparum William H. Welch

Study focus on effective antimalarial agents from plants with little or no cytotoxicity to curb Malaria, the deadliest parasitic disease; have gained greater significance owing to the plasmodial resistance evolved recently against many of the antimalarial drugs in developing countries. The study comprises the screening of antimalarial efficacy and cytotoxic potential, along with the phytochemical fingerprinting of selected medicinal plants having significant ethnobotanical reputation.
